How To Get Here

From the E80 Rosignano-Grosseto (parallel to the SS1 Aurelia), take the GAVORRANO exit and drive toward Follonica, about 50m from the exit, just at the bottom of the ramp, turn right when you see the vertical sign "camere"; take the first dirt-road just before the sign and drive on it for about 2,5 km to the end of the road. On top of the hill you will recognize the stone-walled farmhouse and you will find the sign "La Tona" that indicates the parking lot.

Suggestions about the route

Coming from the north it is always the best to get to Rosignano and then proceed south on the E80 toward Grosseto E80. From the south the best way is toward Grosseto, then from Grosseto in direction Livorno on the E80. In any case the exit is GAVORRANO. We reccomend you avoid the routes that will make you drive through Siena , even though they might seem equivalent in distance, they are usually longer and with a lot of traffic. In case you get lost, the town from which is easiest to find the right direction is Scarlino Scalo, betweem Follonica and Bagno di Gavorrano; from there take the E80 toward Grosseto: the firs exit is GAVORRANO.
